Spend two unforgettable days in the Sacred Bukhara – “Bukhoro-i-Sharif”, located on the Silk Road, once merged the Middle East with India and China.

Chronology of Bukhara has 2500 years.
Its difficult and eventful history dates back to the 5th century BC with the ruling Prince Siyavush and ends in the early 20th century, with the fall of the Bukhara Emirate under Emir Said Alimkhanov, the last ruler of the Mangyt dynasty. The tour is divided into two days. On the first day we will have a tour of the old town. On the second day, your attention is attracted to the suburbs of Bukhara.

Day 1Tour of the old city of Bukhara

Meet your guide at the hotel or in any other convenient place for you in the city for the beginning of the tour.

The tour program will begin with a trip to the suburbs of the old town of Bukahara and visit the mausoleum of Samanids (9th century). From this point the walking tour begins, which includes visits to the following sites: Chashma Ayub mausoleum; Bolo Hauz Mosque; Fortress – citadel Ark; historical complex Poi Kalon which includes minaret Kalon, city Mosque Kalon, Miri-Arab Madrasah and small Said Alimkhan madrassah. The route then runs through the trading domes (16th century) to the madrassahs of Ulugbek and Abdulaziz Khan. Passed the second trading dome in front of us appears Magoki-Attori mosque that boasts with unique decoration of the external portal. The tour will end the first day with a visit to the historical complex Lyabi-Hauz, consisting of Khanaka, Madrassah Nodir Devan Begi, House (pond) and Kukeldash madrassah.

Day 2 Suburb tour in Bukhara

The second day of our fascinating tour will begin with a trip out of town. We will visit historical and religious complex of Bahauddin Naqshbandi, the founder of the Sufi Order of the “Golden Chain of the Naqshbandi.” The complex is located 8 kilometers from Bukhara, in the village of Qasr Arafon. Then we will drive to the summer residence of Bukhara Emirs – Sitorai Mokhi Khosa ( “House of the Moon and the Stars”). You will appreciate the unique architectural style of this monument that blends European and Oriental traits and characteristics. The last point on the route of the second day – a visit to the holy place for Muslims – Necropolis Chor-Bakr ( “Four Brothers”). We’ll tell you a story about four brothers who came to Bukhara, to spread the Islamic faith and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad.
